There is no light at the end of my tunnel, yet everyone says You can show it to me. Lord, help me find that light. Let it be Your light. Give me someone to help. Let me feel You with me. Lord, let me see what You provide and see an alternative to taking my life. Let me feel Your blessings and comfort. Amen.

"The chief weapon in the quiver of all Islamist expansionist movements, is the absolute necessity to keep victims largely unaware of the actual theology plotting their demise. To complete this deception, a large body of ‘moderates’ continue to spew such ridiculous claims as “Islam means Peace” thereby keeping non-Muslims from actually reading the Qur’an, the Sira, the Hadith, or actually looking into the past 1400 years of history. Islamists also deny or dismiss the concept of ‘abrogation’, which is the universal intra-Islamic method of replacing slightly more tolerable aspects of the religion in favor of more violent demands for Muslims to slay and subdue infidels"

A room full of eco-idiots...........Shell finally notices something odd

A room full of eco-idiots

Tony Thomas
The Daily Telegraph
December 19,2013

IT must be a tipping point in the climate debate when a senior Shell executive notices something odd about the green activists with whom he has been consorting.

David Hone, Shell UK's Melbourne-born "senior climate change adviser", went to an academic conference on "radical emission reduction strategies" in London on December 10-11.

He concluded that he had fallen among eco-idiots wanting to remould society from the ground up.

Hone, also a director of the Emissions Trading Association, has a background in oil- and shipping-trade markets. One explanation for his blog outburst could be that he was still in shock from the collapse of carbon pricing and trading schemes at the Warsaw IPCC conference. Hone wrote: "This was a room of catastrophists (as in 'catastrophic global warming'), with the prevailing view, at least to my ears, that the issue could only be addressed by the complete transformation of the global energy and political systems, with the latter moving to one of state control and regulated consumerism. There would be no room for 'ruthless individualism' in such a world. The posters that dotted the lecture theatre lobby area covered topics as diverse as vegan diets to an eventual return to low technology hunter-gatherer societies. Much to my surprise I was not really at an emission reduction conference (despite the label saying I was), but a political ideology conference."

The conference, sadly, was no less unhinged than the UK government's legally mandated goal to cut CO2 emissions by at least 80 per cent below 1990 levels by 2050. Stand by, hardy Britons, for brown and black-outs. Australian national targets are 5 per cent emission cuts by 2020, compared with 2000 levels.

UK climate blogger Andrew Montford noted: "Hone's sudden realisation that many of his fellow-travellers in the environmental movement are completely round the twist is rather comical and you can't help but wonder where he has been in the last 20 years."

At this loopy conference, Australia's ideas on climate catastrophism were well represented. One weblink paper was from Laurence Delina and Dr Mark Diesendorf, of the Institute of Environmental Studies, University of NSW. The title? "Is wartime mobilisation a suitable policy model for rapid national climate mitigation?" No wonder Shell's Hone felt trapped in a madhouse!

Our two experts in war-time mobilisations wrote: "Climate activists assert that rapid mitigation is feasible, invoking the scale and scope of wartime mobilisation strategies. This paper draws upon historical accounts of social, technological and economic restructurings in several countries during World War II in order to investigate potential applications of wartime experience to radical, rigorous and rapid climate mitigation strategies …We find that, while wartime experience suggests some potential strategies for rapid climate mitigation in the areas of finance and labour, it also has severe limitations, resulting from its lack of democratic processes. Furthermore, since restructuring the existing socio-economic system to mitigate climate change is more complex than fighting a war and since the threat of climate change is less obvious to non-scientists, it is unlikely the public will be unified in support of such executive action …"

Yep, that could be right.

Another participant was Professor John Wiseman, of Melbourne University's Sustainable Society Institute, whose weblink talk was titled, ''Winning the climate war: removing political roadblocks to radical emissions reductions''.

I particularly enjoyed a portrait of Professor Wiseman at an Australian conference last October, shown alongside a slide projection quoting excitable green activist Miriam Lyons: "The highest priority action for achieving a rapid transition to a just health and resilient post-carbon future is to sculpt visions of the future that are beautiful, and lifelike enough to fall in love with." (Needless to say, Ms Lyons is a regular guest on Radio National's Drive and Outsiders programs, along with ABC-TV's Q&A and The Drum).

Among Wiseman's authorships is ''Hope, Despair and Transformation: Climate Change and the Promotion of Mental Health and Wellbeing''. Hopefully the absence of global warming since 1997 has restored to sanity the victims of climate scare campaigns.

Another Aussie was Dr Jane O'Sullivan, of the University of Queensland, whose topic was, "Reducing emissions through family planning and women's empowerment." A gung-ho person on carbon taxes, Dr O'Sullivan shows symptoms of Life of Brian's People's Front of Judea divisiveness, being "frustrated by the tangled web of misconceptions and the determination of environmental activists to regard any criticism of the cap-and-trade proposal as climate change denial."

However, our Aussie presenters seem conservative compared to the Poms.

Typical of the green contingent was Pete Brace, an IT nerd and seven-year careerist in computer games, who wound up three years ago in a community called Tinkers Bubble which prohibits fossil fuels. His ambition is zero emissions plus a high quality of life. The whole show, including David Hone's epiphany, would be funny - except that taxpayers, including Australia's, must have funded 90 per cent of it.

Adelaide pathologist Heddy Zola wants more squat toilets to address needs of large migrant population

Jill Pengelley
The Advertiser
December 25,2013

SQUAT toilets should be considered for new buildings, says a leading pathologist who has had to instruct his staff in correct use of western toilets.

SA Pathology research director Professor Heddy Zola says it is probably time Adelaide acknowledged the cultural needs of its large migrant population.

Squat toilets, also known as Nile pans, are preferred in parts of Asia and Europe.

"In the research environment, the native-born Australian is a rarity," Professor Zola said.

"We do very well with our immigrant population.

"I'm a migrant myself and we do need to accommodate them."

In his monthly research newsletter, he has included a page on "toilet etiquette", which includes a diagram, with a cross through it, of a stick figure standing on a toilet seat.

The instructions also include an appeal not to throw water on the floor.

He said there had been a recurring problem with the state of the toilets in his IMVS building, on Frome Rd.

TELL US: Should more squat toilets be introduced?

At one stage, a PhD student had cleaned up after others to spare the cleaners the task.

"I think it's a mixture of cultural differences and just people not giving a damn about who comes after them,'' Professor Zola said.

He said it would be "sensible" to install squats in new buildings, especially those used by large numbers of migrant students and staff.

"I wouldn't be surprised if in 30 years' time, all buildings had to have both styles,'' he said.

The University of Adelaide has "culturally sensitive amenities" to cater for students and staff from more than 90 countries, a spokeswoman told The Advertiser.

"We have prayer rooms with culturally appropriate ablutions at both Union House and Nexus10 as well as squat toilets in the Ingkarni Wardli building," she said.

"It is important to consider culturally sensitive amenities as part of building development planning.

"Feedback from occupants and visitors alike is invariably positive and it further reinforces the university's values of inclusivity and tolerance."

Flinders University also has installed squat toilets and special washrooms.

UniSA has none but has recognised a problem and placed signs on cubicle doors, asking users not to stand on seats.

The new South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute building on North Terrace does not have squat toilets.

I have seen first hand in the public toilets of a major Sydney Public Hospital the Toilet habits of the Labor Green Loon VOTE People and what they do to normal Toilets as a way of protesting their demands for the imposition of the filth you see above and believe me what you see above would be classed as hygienic by their standards.
I have seen normal Australian toilets trashed by Union / GetUp financed Labor, Green Loon, Cultural Enrichment, Harmony Day Ambassadors, to the extent that they are rendered unusable by Australians in private and public buildings.

Maybe these Labor Green Loon VOTE People and their Progressive apologists are pining for Cholera, Diphtheria, Polio, Diarrhoea,Dysentery, and of course the old "Group Shit" custom of the Middle East.

For Gods sake if this Cultural Enrichment Ambassador,Heddy Zola is the best Adelaide University can come up with in its Pathology Department no wonder people are dying in Hospitals of causes new to Australia.
Just how safe is the Lab he oversees?

"SA Pathology research director Professor Heddy Zola says it is probably time Adelaide acknowledged the cultural needs of its large migrant population."

Its high time Labor Green Loon VOTE People acknowledge that the reason they are here is because they could no longer suffer the Religious Social and Cultural manifestations of whatever nation it was they ran away from, they came here because Australia was NOT like the Godless Shit Hole they decided was not able to produce a standard of living and safety for them and their families and so either illegally entered Australia and asked for shelter or immigrated legally.

Heddy Zola if you and your kind are successful in doing to MY Country what you, your Parents, Grand Parents did to the nation they / you, ran away from, where will you run to next after you and your "Culture" have turned Australia into another third world shit hole?

All aboard the "Jesus Express" The morally superior all away in a manger

The morally superior all away in a manger

Roger Franklin
The Daily Telegraph
December 27,2013

IT is a good thing Jesus is the bringer of peace and forgiveness because every Christmas He must be sorely tempted to do quite a bit of smiting. It's not the commercialisation of his birthday that would bother him so much as the slanders on the good name of his earthly family.

Brothers and sisters, let us shun those who every year at this time proclaim that Joseph and Mary were a homeless couple! There are lies, which all Sunday schoolers know are sins, and then there are those gigantic, jaw-dropping whoppers which come with little horns and pitchforks and do the devil's work, and this annual misrepresentation of the Holy Family is one of the biggest of the lot.

Those who would have us believe that Mary and Joseph were a couple of down-on-their-luck bums are also inclined to drop a lot of hints that Jesus might have had a better start in life if only Caesar had collected just a bit more tax to "invest" in government-approved mangers.

Others seem to be under the impression that Mary and Joseph arrived in landlocked Bethlehem aboard a leaky boat.

Atheists and believers differ on whether or not God can move mountains, but there is no doubt Jesus is always being asked to lend a hand when there is a barrow to be pushed, and often by the most unlikely suspects.

Consider NSW University of Technology professor of journalism Wendy Bacon, who earlier this week tweeted a message of support for the illegal arrivals she prefers to call asylum seekers.

She was commenting favourably on another Twitter user's photo of a sign outside a Brisbane church that assured refugees "there's plenty of room at the inn."
Now it should come as no shock that Bacon, a lifelong radical, rejects the quaint notion that it should be policy rather than people smugglers deciding how and when they arrive.

What does surprise is Bacon's sudden respect for Christianity. The last time there is a record of her tapping into the spiritual came when she was charged with obscenity and appeared in court dressed as a nun. Just to make sure the magistrate knew how she felt about religion, her habit bore a graphic announcement claiming intimate knowledge of "God's steel prick".

How many refugees saw that church's sign and appreciated its sentiment is unknown, although the ready guess is that the number would have been few.

Then again, boat people were never the intended audience. Why shouldn't the self-righteous give themselves a little Christmas treat by putting their virtue on display for all to admire? Moral superiority, real and imagined, always makes you feel lovely and warm inside - warmer than a drowned boat person, certainly.

In Toowoomba, copies of the Australian Catholic Bishops' latest statement on social justice, entitled "Lazarus at the Gate", were distributed to the faithful and - surprise! surprise! - Australia was relegated to Santa's naughty list.

"The recent increase in the number of people arriving by boat is insignificant by world standards," the bishops wrote. "In 2012 … as Pakistan struggled to accommodate 1.6 million refugees, Australia's political leaders and media whipped up hysteria over the arrival of 17,000 asylum seekers."

At Eureka Street, a website run and funded by the Jesuits, St Vincent de Paul Society chief executive John Falzon came in on cue with a Christmas hope that capitalism ("not a natural system") will be replaced by something kinder to outcasts and people like Jesus, who, he assures readers, was "born on the fringes of society".

This is just too much. It is one thing to see Wendy Bacon misrepresenting a theology she once thought worthy only of a blasphemous, look-at-me parody, but quite another when the chief executive of a religious charity can't grasp the real meaning of that night in a stable long ago.

Fact is, Mary and Joseph were victims of Big Government - and you can take that as the gospel truth, courtesy of the Gospels themselves. Why did they leave their home in Nazareth? Because the Emperor Augustus ordered all Roman subjects to return to their ancestral homes for a census, thus wasting the couple's time, money and sandal leather to extract information that might have been just as easily obtained if they had been allowed to remain in their own home.

Why were there no rooms available? Because, after issuing the order to hit the road and be counted, Augustus made no provision to accommodate the overnight population surge.

But surely Mary and Joseph were homeless outcasts, right?

Well, they were away from home but certainly not homeless. Joseph was a carpenter, according to the New Testament, and therefore a skilled artisan - about as likely to be mistaken for a homeless man as the next tradie you see scooting by in a ute.

How Jesus might feel about these misrepresentations is anyone's guess, but one thing is for sure: those who paint Him as an outcast should give thanks that the Jehovah of the Old Testament, forever afflicting wrongdoers with plagues and torments, was replaced in Jesus' teachings with the God of love.

Otherwise we could expect an annual blitz of lightning bolts raining down every year at this time.

And this is the Savages contribution to CHRISTmas

Sharia Unveiled
A Muslim woman by the name of Fatima Ali and her friends from the Islamic Center at NYU have crossed the line of disrespect by posing in a mocking photo of the ‘Last Supper of Christ.’

One of our readers pointed out the fact that there are “only 12 people” in this picture, where there should be 13.

The 12 disciples and Jesus.  The 12 disciples are represented but Jesus is not.  We believe that this omission of Jesus is intentional.  The Muslims are essentially making the claim that Jesus did not exist.  Credit: Angelos Gavriel

Jesus #1 in Top Ten of Human History, Satan's Paedophile Slave Trader Pirate Moon Worshipper and Mass Murderer runs a poor third behind Napoleon.

Jesus towers above everyone in history

Michael Frost
Manly Daily Pg.26
21 Dec 2013

IN CASE you have wondered why we still celebrate Jesus’ birth in our increasingly secular society, his influence on history alone should be enough of an answer.
He was recently ranked the biggest name in human history. Ever.

So say the authors of a new book, Who’s Bigger: Where Historical Figures Really
Rank, who used “culturometrics,” a fancy term to describe quantitative data analysis, to figure out that Jesus stood above all.

Their top 100 was a bit of a surprise to most people. Everyone is overwhelmingly white and 97 are male, with the only women being Queen Elizabeth I (No.13), Queen Victoria (No.16), and St. Joan of Arc (No.95).

The top 10 people in history were (in order) Jesus, Napoleon, Muhammad, William Shakespeare, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Adolf Hitler, Aristotle, Alexander the Great and Thomas Jefferson.

Third Prize goes to  Muhammad

Dante described hell for Muhammad

A cask by losing centre-piece or cant
Was never shattered so, as I saw one
Rent from the chin to where one breaketh wind.

Between his legs were hanging down his entrails;
His heart was visible, and the dismal sack
That maketh excrement of what is eaten.

While I was all absorbed in seeing him,
He looked at me, and opened with his hands
His bosom, saying: "See now how I rend me;

How mutilated, see, is Mahomet;
In front of me doth Ali weeping go,
Cleft in the face from forelock unto chin;

And all the others whom thou here beholdest,
Disseminators of scandal and of schism
While living were, and therefore are cleft thus.

A devil is behind here, who doth cleave us
Thus cruelly, unto the falchion's edge
Putting again each one of all this ream,

When we have gone around the doleful road;
By reason that our wounds are closed again
Ere any one in front of him repass.

- Dante's Inferno, Canto 28

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The research was primarily based on Wikipedia and Google ngrams (a searchable collection of words in scanned English language books), which is why the list was biased toward an Anglo-American, English-language version of history.

Nonetheless, as you enjoy Christmas Day, even if you’re not religious, spare a thought for the towering historical figure whose birth you’re celebrating.

His teaching about loving your neighbour, forgiving your enemy and caring for the poor has found its way into our collective consciousness and our legal system.

His view of God as a loving father shapes much of our thinking. His example of sacrifice and service has moulded many of our beliefs about human excellence.

All this is incredible when you consider that he was born in an obscure village, the child of peasants. He never wrote a book, never held office, never went to college, and never travelled more than two hundred miles from the place where he was born.

And yet as James Allen once wrote: All the armies that have ever marched All the navies that have ever sailed All the parliaments that have ever sat All the kings that ever reigned put together Have not affected the life of humankind on earth
